Old Boiler Replacement
We tore out this oil fired boiler system from 1954 and installed a 96% 2 stage propane furnace with central air.
This job required new duct in the attic since the old system consisted of hot water radiators. We added 7 supply registers and 2 return grilles to allow for maximum comfort and air distribution. A new propane line was also installed to replace the old fuel oil line. Finally, 2 new electrical circuits were incorporated, one each for the furnace and air conditioner.
The old boiler put up quite a fight, but in the end it was no match for SubZero... to the scrap heap it went! Over 1,200 pounds of steel and cast iron were recycled on this day.
